This resort is in a nice area , good for walking and has a beautiful indoor pool
( on the weekend the pool is packed with kids , no fun. )
The room is basic and needs some care .
No services , we stayed 3 days and had to call for extra coffee. If you need extra towels , etc. , you have to call .
The restaurants have weird hours and are very expensive .
We expected more for what we paid! Golf course and this staff were great though! Front desk needs more training and compassion for guests
We were a party of 40 for a school reunion and enjoyed most of the onsite services. Main 'likes' included: the location; spacious, comfortable rooms (Lakeside): helpful staff and the facilities. Maple 'casual' restaurant was consistently excellent. Our first night's banquet was a disappointment with food service that took waaay too long to serve. More info at check-in on the facilities and options would be helpful. The beach was mysteriously signed as closed, but it wasn't (?).
Truly disappointed in deerhurst resort offerings. 1 restaurant option, vs 4 . Dated rooms, don’t care that Stephen Harper slept her in 2008..shows that nothing has been updated since. Our golf was exceptional, a very tough course but the views were exceptional.
Main lodge rooms are tired. Amenities poor, shower head needed replacing, towels old and rough (they will exfoliate well however ;-)
Not even a simple bottle of water in the room. Group dinner was slow, service merely ok.
