Went to see Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" at the Best Western Cobourg Motor Inn. I honestly was not expecting such a fabulous dinner so I was very pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the food. They served roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, a very tender and tasty chicken dish and roast pork with applesauce. There was also a variety of salads, vegetables, potatoes etc. as well as great desserts.
The play was just wonderful. The set was beautiful and so well constructed and the acting was amazing. Such talent! It was a very enjoyable and entertaining evening and a great deal for $49.
I have recommended it to a friend and she has booked for the next dinner theatre "Drinking Alone" for herself and her husband and they will be taking advantage of their overnight package.

We ate here twice... Dinner one evening and Sunday brunch. . I ordered ribs. They tasted as if they were old (2 or 3 days), microwaved, some sauce dumped on top....dry and awful. The creme brûlée was burnt and tasted bad. So we decided to try the brunch..... Many of the items tasted dry and tasteless, leathery sausages, and how can they ruin hash browns and turn them that rubbery?

Very disappointing, so much potential to be a rocking place in Cobourg, instead a big fail.

Good Place to stay but nothing special. Generally clean but dated and staff are very average for service. Pool is clean but small but stay away from the Y down the road as it was dirty and very run down.

Best hotel in Cobourg and for the cost per night was worth the price. Breakfast was extremely good and also well worth the money.

I dropped in for Sunday Brunch with my son and saw the sign advertising it as " the best in Cobourg" I was disappointed. There was not a lot of variety and the taste was not even what I would call average. It was difficult to serve yourself from the Breakfast selections as there was not a large enough area to set your plate down to lift the lid with one hand and use the serving utensil with the other- you had to hold your plate on using another body part! The fruit had been sliced but not all the way through so when you picked up what you thought was 1 slice - you got about 8 all joined. All the dessert selections were brought in - could tell by the aluminum pie plates - except for the crepes in burnt chocolate sauce which were terrible. All stations could have used a tidy up. For $40 plus ( after tax and coffee ) it was a rip off. If this is the best brunch in Coboug, I'll find somewhere else. A big disappointment.

A group of 9 celebrated the new year at Arthurs restaurant, located in the Best Western. Included was two buffets, one at 6pm and the other prior to midnight. Our group enjoyed the food and there was plenty of selection for the size of the venue. The music was great for dancing to and we all had a great time. The bar was less organized and the staff did not seem well trained. Drinks were costly but that was to be expected.
