It's a motel, not the Sheraton. But let's count all the positives. The reception was warm and friendly. Staff answered my questions about Cobourg's rather tricky transit system and made it quite clear to ask if I needed anything. It snowed while I was there but the room was nice and warm without being too warm. A/C unit was noisy but I did;t use it. The rooms are really well insulated. I didn't use the A/C when I stayed there the previous time. The bathroom tap system is unusual for the shower. Lift the lever to switch to shower and turn on the central tap to start water flow. Good selection of TV channels, spare blanket in drawer if you needed it. Beds comfortable and not too tightly made. Wendy's, McDonald's and Tim Horton's right next door. The latter two open really early My unit this time was not a kitchen unit but it did have a microwave and a fridge. I'm at a loss to understand some previous reviews to be honest.

The beds in this motel were awful, not comfortable at all , needs a lot of upgrading especially the beds There should be someone at the desk at all times,Were ready to check out by 9am had to go for breakfast and come back because office wasn't open

I should have checked reviews before staying here, but had come into Cobourg for a family funeral; not impressed with this Motel at all
Room smelled; skimpy towels; bathroom not very clean; bed looked like a 5 yr old made it up.
Opened the small fridge and it wasn't very cold and also smelled; didn't even take the chance on looking in the microwave.
Didn't get much sleep as you could hear the occupants in the next room (they weren't very pleasant sounding).
The room itself was pitiful - stains on the walls, cobwebs in the corners, dust on the furniture, sticky floors and the carpet certainly had seen better days.
