Hotel was ok. Staff was friendly. A bit on the pricy side as we stayed at the falls for a better room for $10 usd less

Crossed the border at detroit coming back from florida, it was 6 or 7 at night thought about getting a room in Windsor but the roads are teriabel and the truck traffic was horrendous, so just wanted to get out of there. Next lodging stop is Chatham and I managed to miss the first exit due to the quirky way they put the exit number on the ramp itself and not on the actual exit lane. I was on to this quirk and managed to make the second exit which actually backtracks you to chatham by twelve kilometers,at this point my Dad is saying we should just move on to London but that's another hour down the 401. I am glad we persevered and back tracked to Chatham as the travelodge was good accomodation, and we could walk to the Tim Hortons for super.

The staff was great. The hotel was not. No heat the first night. We were offered a discount and a portable heater. No hot water in the tub. The "new" lever would only turn up half way to warm. No heat in the hallway. The next day we were informed that we would not get a discount because we booked through reservations.com. We were offered another room on the third floor away from the hockey team but we did not want to move all the gear/food/luggage at that point. We should have got a discount or free stay regardless of who we booked with. It is your hotel to do what you want. We are very disappointed.
