I had the pleasure to stay at the Heritage Home B+B before heading to Newfoundland in 2011. Right from the start I was impressed by this wonderful vintage home. From the outside you feel as if you are walking into a museum. As you make your way through the front door you are greeted by Juana who is a true delight. Not only is she pleasant to talk to but she makes a serious breakfast. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well decorated. I really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning with my tea and watching the sea. Thanks for a great stay and I will be sure to return.

We stayed three nights at Heritage Home and found it a delightful place in all respects. The owner was helpful and pleasant. The rooms and house beautifully decorated and our rooms comfortable. Would certainly return there should we find ourselves in North Sydney again. The house is also located across from the sea.

The Heritage Home on 110 Queen St. in North Sydney,N.S.was the most enjoyable B and B we stayed in. It is close to the ferry terminal to take the ferry to Newfounland.
It was very comfortable,& clean.Food and breakfast freshly made; and a great assortment.
Owner Juana Moreland treated us like family and made us feel at home.
Because we enjoyed this B and B we stayed there once again on our return trip from Newfoundland. Highly recommend thi B and B in North Sydney.

After our two night saty, it was obvious why Heritage Home is sitting in first position, on tripadvisor's list of B&Bs in North Sydney. Juana is a marvellous host and her breakfasts excellent. Our room was comfortably furnished and we appreciated the tea/coffee making facilities provided. There may be cheaper places to stay in the area, but we would, certainly, stay here again, if we ever return to Nova Scotia,

My wife and I had done some research on Bed and Breakfasts in the Sydney area prior to taking our mothers on an East Coast adventure. Both mothers are in their late seventies and have never traveled. We wanted their experience to include all types of accommodations and a bed and breakfast was on the list. Everything appeared to draw us to giving Juana a call to determine if she could accommodate our travel needs including a bed for each of our mothers. She was able to book us a main floor suite and thanked us for our inquiry.
When we arrived we were not disappointed, our room was clean, neat, well maintained, and as promised a bed for each of our mothers. Breakfast was served in a elegant manor, fine china, and the ambiance that would be present for royalty. One of our mother had dietary needs and were pleasantly surprised that Juana went out of her way ensure her experience at a bed and breakfast was a positive one. This place certainly left a lasting impression on our mothers as they still talk about it today. My wife and I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts in our travels and this place ranks at the top. Definitely, a return visit is in order.

Wow! what else can we say! This was our very FIRST B&B experience & did it set the bar high! First impressions are everything & this well maintained/restored Victorian home has it all from cleanliness to perfection. When we first drove up to the house we were so taken by it's lovely outside appearance - front porch looking over the bay, private patios and beautiful gardens. The inside decor and collection of antiques are exquisite. You need to stay an extra day just to take it all in. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome & relaxed. Juana is an exceptional hostess & her full breakfast served in her beautiful antique filled diningroom is mostly homemade and delicious. Simply put, exceptional value for the price.
We strongly recommend this location to everyone.
