We made reservations for 7 for lunch today. When we arrived our table was set for 6. My sister needed to change her chair as the one offered was rotten. We waited 50 minutes for our meal to arrive once placed. The restaurant was about 40% full. Coffee was lukewarm. The food was lukewarm. Nobody's meal arrived hot. The service was just ok.

Unfortunately, Stepehnville does not have many restaurants. If this facility had much competition they would surely go out of business.

We've had poor service and meals at this place previously. I would avoid it but others in my party booked it. Poor management!

Room Tip: We didn't stay here, just ate in the dining room.

Thank you Cathy B. for making us aware of a less than satisfying visit to our restaurant. That is the last thing we want to hear. I apologize for your long wait time and lukewarm meals. We always strive to give our guests the best experience possible. The restaurant staff has been made aware of your comments and we will work to make the dining experience for all our patrons of the highest standard.

The rooms are up to date. And comfortable. Tubs and showers are getting old and shower heads don't seem to work properly. Also the hotel is over priced at an avg of $160 a night for this place is too much.

All n all a great hotel however some of the staff were horrible.....they booked us all a hockey team....15 rooms....also another town or 2 were staying there also....but they didn't have us all in the same area....as to why we don't know?? What would one expect with 40-50 kids around...noise yes!! They were rude and their behavior was inappropriate to the kids.....as for other guests....most didn't mind at all.....the staff should have told them b4 hand that there was a hockey banquet going on n that the hotel was accommodating to them.....the hotel was completely booked so if they had to turn away a few costumers because they didn't want to deal with the kids it would have been fine because other teams would have enjoyed staying there at least they would have all been together

Thank you morrish336 for explaining how you felt about your stay. I know every customer looks around for the hotel that seems like the best fit for their needs. I am sorry that we are not the right fit for your group. Although we are more than happy to see groups of children staying with us, we do expect all our guests to respect the very few house rules we have, as well as respect the needs of other guests. Again, sorry that we could not accommodate you in the relaxed manner you wished for.

I stayed at the days inn for 2 weeks in March. The service I received from the hotel staff were super considering the situation. The second week I stayed at the hotel was Easter week and there was a hockey tournament, and the hotel was in an uproar. Until 1-2 am in the morning kids were in the halls yelling, playing hockey, banging their hockey sticks down along the walls of the halls which included guests doors... I was at the hotel on business and was unable to sleep any of these nights, not only for noise but I feared for my safety.. The parents were intoxicated and we're getting angry because people were complaining about the noise. I was very disappointed

This is the only chain hotel in Stephenville, NL. The others in the area appear to be not up to the same standards. The staff here are very helpful and friendly. We ate at the restaurant one night and both the food and service was good. The room we had was dated but clean compared to the newly renovated room we had during a previous stay. I would have asked for a better one but the place was full and we were lucky to get the room in the first place. I would stay there again.
