Description: Good bread needs good ingredients. Great bread needs time and love. We are new owners since July 2021 and we bake everything from real ingredients!!! Bread, pastries, cake and all varieties of coffee creations - stop by and enjoy. We bake fresh every morning which means a little less selection but a lot better product. We have breakfast pretzel buns, fruit parfaits, trifle, cinnamon swirls, poppy seed lemon snails, gluten friendly carrot cake and of course REAL SOURDOUGH BREAD that is made from flour, water and salt. We don't use any artificial stuff in our products and we can make your sandwiches vegetarian or even vegan. We also have vegan and earth friendly Canadian made oat milk for your cappuccino that froths just like milk!!! Bring your kids and/or your dog along - we have Lego, books and art supplies to keep the little ones busy while you enjoy the view! See you soon! Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

My partner and I stopped by here while we were on holiday in Valemout and I was pleasantly surprised - enough so that I went out of my way a few months later to visit again! The owner is very sweet, and everyone who works there is incredibly friendly. We had a delicious breakfast the first day, and the second time we came back I had a latte and an apple strudel. All the pastries are delicious!

It is cash only so make sure you stop at an ATM, and get there early in the day to avoid it being sold out!

small, cramped ordering counter, weird set up. food everywhere, difficult to see what's the order of things. I had a blueberry strudel, I think. it was ok, nothing more, just ok. so I went back in and asked if they had any meat filled pastries. seems that they don't. the owner ( woman), barged in my conversation with one of the 2 young men working there and rudely said, pointing to the door, that I should go to Tim Horton's if I wanted such a thing. I said to her that i was only asking what sort of pastries they had and she again very emphatically ( so rude and mean) that I should get out and go to another place. wow. ok, done. not in Valemount at any rate, every again. thank you. By the way, coffee is passible at best, pastries are ok and expensive. no need to stop here for a special stop, you might end up not getting more then a quick desert (no bathrooms worth mentionning) I don't thing they ever thought they would ever sell more then a couple of loafs of bread and a few struddles. if they want to make it big, trip advisor is making it happen. put a smile on your face and rake in the money. other wise, move out of the way. my suggestion. by the way, I have eaten pastries in Switzerland, so I should know. no one every told me off in any of the establishments there for asking if they had a specific item. MEAN woman.

Busy place, good food and coffee! If you want a certain kind of bread, go early! They serve a European style breakfast and always a lunch soup.

when we arrived everyone said to go to the Swiss bakery. The day after climbing Mt Terry Fox (12 hours total) we treated ourselves at the bakery and it was great. Not as much variety as I expected but what we had was excellent quality along with very friendly service. It's very small so we were glad to get a table to sit at and enjoy our pastries. Even the coffeee was superior to most. We also would recommend this to everyone going to Valemount.
