I was here two nights in a row. I was first served by a younger man who was very condescending while serving us. However, it takes a lot to get under my skin so I dismissed it. Our order was correct and very good. We went the next day again and the place was packed. I finally got to the counter and I ordered a regular beyond burger combo with root beer and a beyond burger combo with no uncle sauce and a lettuce wrap. The lady informed me she was out of lettuce. I have a gluten allergy so I told her just the patty and toppings were fine. She then proceeded to punch in 2 extra burgers and then took one away and asked if I wanted 3 burgers. I told her no and repeated my order again. I told her to still put everything on the plain burger (pickles, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard) but just no uncle sauce or bun. I got my order and the regular one was correct, but when I opened my box, all they had given me was a plain burger with no toppings or sauces. The burger was so dry that it was even cracking apart. I went back in and told the lady that I had still asked for all the toppings except for the uncle sauce and bun. She proceeded to get flustered and told her manager she didn’t know what I wanted and that she didn’t know where her head was. She made it seem like I was the issue and that what I had asked for wasn’t presented clearly enough. They then made me another burger and when I opened it up all it had on it was mustard, ketchup and uncle sauce. Still no vegetables. I went back in and asked again where the pickles and tomatoes were and told her I wouldn’t be eating this burger because it contained uncle sauce (because I am also allergic to dairy). I dropped the burger on the counter and walked out. I think this lady was especially frazzled today because it’s busy which I understand, but I’ve also worked in the service industry for 5 years and I don’t appreciate when someone doesn’t take my allergies seriously or doesn’t take the time to actually listen to my order. Ended up walking out of there with a plain burger, no bun, no veg and no condiments and went to the grocery store and picked up my own ingredients. This may be a one off experience but I won’t be going there again as I don’t appreciate paying a company for food that I then have to go make myself.
