About Our Restaurant Your hosts Patricia and Rudi Thoni began construction of their authentic log building in the summer of 1998 and opened for business in May 1999. The interior reflects the back woods log cabin theme with beautiful wildlife mounts, native artifacts, leather art and comfortable high back chairs. The incredible beauty that surrounds Valemount is what brought Rudi and Patricia to the area and is what keeps them here. If you are looking for a short hike or to stay in one of our local backcountry cabins, please inquire with Patricia for some tips on the great hiking opportunities or to book a cabin.

An amazing place
Great staff and the food is something else
So busy on a Monday evening says it all
Compliments to the chef tonight
Chicken in a teriyaki sauce absolutely amazing and my wife’s steak cooked to perfection
Sorry we didn’t have a desert but there was no room thanks for your hospitality

Best place in Valemount

This is our 'go to' place when we visit Valemount. The food is excellent, the service is great and the venue is beautiful. We dined there and really enjoyed our meal. And the price wasn't crazy expensive. This is in my opinion the 'only' place to enjoy a nice meal in Valemount. No reservations are available but the restaurant is quite big and has a patio (another bonus!) so there should be not much of a wait to get seated. But go! It's great!

Stunning restaurant with excellent atmosphere and amazing food.

Road trip in Canada

Fab food & awesome dining experience

Been here multiple times. Always our first choice when we visit Valemont. Mouth watering food, and Andrew’s service is top-notch! Lovely place to dine!
