Stranded in Vancouver international airport, due to fog. Instead of waiting for the plane, I rented a car and drove to the ferry. The ferry was clean and the staff were friendly. Seats were very comfortable.

Traveled off the island and back as a walk on passenger. The view from the ferries is always great, and sometimes you get a little extra sightings (whale watching, dolphins, etc) as you are traveling.

This WAS just as good as last time! went over to Vancouver (by pacific coach line) went to a hockey game, and stayed at the four seasons!!! but the ride on the boat was awesome too! BTW this is the only way to get to Vancouver other than YYJ to YVR flights! BTW again, this is not a dating couple, its a father son couple!

Took the ferry from Horseshoe Bay Vancouver to Vancouver Isl Departure Bay (Nanaimo). It was great fun boarding with our vehicle and knowing we had it to drive around and enjoy the isl for the day. You get out of your vehicle and go to the upper decks to enjoy the journey. We took the ferry back at 9pm from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen. It's an easy no-nosense service and fun activity if you are a viistor of the area.

Very disappointing. Fewer people can afford to take the ferry over to the island or to the mainland and it's affecting lots of businesses as well as individuals.

Maybe BC ferries should get rid of some of the highly paid dead weight at the top and get back to moving people reasonably. It's a nice ride but at an unreasonable price. And no end to the cost increases in sight.

We're finding it more pleasant, time saving and reasonable to just fly when we want to go to the mainland.

Shame on you BC Ferries.
