Took a trip to Vancouver on the new Salish raven out of long harbour to see a Canuck game with grandchildren. The new boat looks great although has a few issues (doors, elevators and no hot cooked food) to say the least! I think when they get these looked after I think I would give it a positive review.

Hi snowman/8,

Thank you for taking the time to write your review.

I hope you had a great time at the Canuck's game! I feel lucky to live on such an amazing coast, so close to the big city.

We appreciate our traveler's patience as we work hard to make the final adjustments to our new vessel. I hope we will have you all on board again for another adventure soon, so we can improve upon our services.

Best,
Elly T - Customer Care

We booked a short break to VI using one of BC Ferry's "Hotel & Ferry" deals. We lucked out to nice autumn weather. The ferries were smack on time, very clean and pleasant. Our accommodation at the Accent Inn was equally pleasant. Their room, at the rear of the property, was away from the traffic noise and very clean. There was a well stocked breakfast room.
We feel that we got a good deal and would not hesitate to do it again.

Thank John T

Hi streaky2014,

Thanks for take the time to write your review!

Ran or shine, I think the view from one of our vessels is something really special. I like to suggest taking a trip on the ferries to some of the smaller islands because they are one of the best ways to explore the Pacific Northwest. You can bundle up and head to the outer decks to watch for wildlife. The ship passes close along the coast line, revealing all kinds of wildlife!

I hope your visit to Vancouver Island was as enjoyable as the ferry ride, perhaps we will have the pleasure of having you on board again soon.

Best,

On the larger ferries, we now dodge the queue for coffee or tea and get a self-serve ice cream. If you want a coffee, go 30 minutes after the ferry has left the terminal.

Hi Stevethearchitect,

Thank you for the 5 star review!

My favourite snack to enjoy on the vessels between Victoria and Vancouver is the soft serve ice-cream ! May I also suggest getting a coffee at the terminal before traveling? Swartz Bay terminal has the Land's End Cafe where we sell coffee, tea, hot dogs, and fresh salads (and of course, ice cream).

We look forward to welcoming you aboard soon!

Kind regards,
Melanie - Customer Care
