The location of Eagle's Nest is superb. The experienced host has probably already provided an answer for the question you haven't even thought of yet! He responds usually within minutes and there is a useful house guide ring binder.
The property is suitable both for people just wanting to be comfortable and relax as well as for those wanting a bit more activity. It has a little bit of sandy beach right in front of it. The sit-on-top kayaks provided are only a paddle away from some fascinating and protected islands ripe for exploration. Or you can just walk about 15 minutes to one of the best little restaurants on the Island, the Sea Glass Bistro. There are two bikes available for the cycle ride around the airport on safe cycle paths or you can just wander around the local town of Sidney which has plenty to discover. Don't forget to wear your cycle helmet (also provided!).
The house itself is very comfortable and kept up to a high standard. We spent a lot of time either sitting right by the water's edge in the sunshine or moving indoors into the warm conservatory. Wonderful!!

The house was very comfortable and the location and setting can't be beat. We had a wonderful week exploring, relaxing, and watching all the sea life.

The most amazing location. We were able to sit in the sun room and enjoy the view of Mt Baker, fishing and pleasure boats going in and out of the harbour, and the water birds swimming and fishing for their dinner.
The house is well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need and the bed is vey comfortable.
It is an easy and enjoyable walk into the center of Sidney where you will find great coffee shops, restaurants and lots of book stores. The bus into the Victoria is close by. If you enjoy biking, it's very easy to get on to a great biking trail. Great walking along the beach.
Adrian is a great host. If you had a question he was always very prompt at responding.

We have just spent April 15, 2016 to May 15, 2016 at Eaglesnest in Sidney BC. What a fantastic holiday time that was. First off, the house is right on the water with unobstructed views of the Canadian Gulf Islands and the US San Juan islands. It is situated in Roberts Bay and limited to only residential properties as the entire bay is a bird and wildlife sanctuary. Numerous Great Blue Herons, Eagles, and other water fowl populate the bay and of course it was spring so all the little ducklings and goslings were swimming everywhere.
The house itself is a three bedroom home with all the amenities needed to make it a home away from home......plenty of kitchen gear to make gourmet meals from the kitchen with a view! We arrived to our professionally cleaned accommodations and enjoyed all that the area has to offer. We highly recommend this house as a great place to be situated. Minutes from the international airport and the BC Ferries to get you to the mainland if desired. About a 15 minute drive into Victoria itself if you wish to partake in the tourism opportunities in that great city. The little town of Sidney is absolutely charming with numerous options for dining in the town and nearby small towns. We are definitely coming back.

Family of 6 visiting for a wedding. Perfect home from home for us to entertain (fully equiped kitchen and BBQ facilities), stunning views over the bay, plenty of parking and available use of sea Kayak's.

Pleasant 20 minute walk into the centre of Sidney and convenient shop near-by.

Amazing views of Mount Baker in the distance across the bay and excellent wildlife (eg. Otters, Bald Eagles etc!)

Would love to stay here again.
