Hates families and youth sports teams.

8 minutes ago on Google
Overall good location as it is in Salmon Arm. Can’t go wrong with a small town. Overhead GM threatening fees to visitors for being out late. She could have asked nicely (ask they went in without issue once she finished yelling at them). She cared more about complaining about “being woken up” than anything. Overheard saying she hates youth hockey teams staying at “her” hotel. Question is why rent to sports team “if you hate them”??? Seemed unreasonable to threaten fees and being kicked out without asking nicely first them to quiet down? Staff is great otherwise- but GM need to learn how to deal with people.
Families and sports youth teams not welcome.

We have no problem having hockey teams at the hotel however there are guidelines that are sent out to the person booking their team and are to be explained what is expected while they are staying in the hotel:

1) No mini hockey allowed in the hotel. However the teams were in the hallways playing mini hockey. If they happen to hit a sprinkler head this could cause damage to the hotel.
2) Quiet time is from 10:00pm - 7:00am: Music being played in the hall along with drinking excessively numerous complaints were taken by our night auditor which he tried to deal with.
3) Parents are to be responsible for direct supervision for their children. The children we found the hockey players filling up a bucket of ice and pour it over each other other in the hallway which can cause a slipping accident with another guest.
4) Parents drinking outside the lobby area being extremely loud : We had numerous complaints to our night auditor he spoke to the group however they didn't listen. I was staying at the hotel that night I was on the 5th floor at the very end of the hotel and I could hear them. I got dressed, went down and spoke very firmly to them and said they were noisy and if this behavior didn't stop that their team could be evicted.
5) The cost of cleaning excessively dirty rooms is on the guidelines; My Head housekeeper on Sunday showed me pictures of some of the team rooms, which I will be showing to Salmon Arm Minor Hockey Association. We didn't charge any of the hockey rooms for having such excessively dirty rooms.

The Hockey teams have to realize that we have other guests in the hotel not associated with hockey that have to work and would like a restful night sleep. We just need the hockey parents to watch their children and obey the Team Guidelines.

We stayed with our hockey team for a tournament and used a conference room and the pool. The front desk staff were friendly. My son said the hot tub was at 106, which was a bit hot, but the facilities were all in great shape and well-kept. They cleaned our room and did a nice job. I would recommend staying here.

Great value for money, we only stayed 1 night as we were passing through but very comfortable stay. Yes it's a bit old and dated but had everything we needed and great price for it, bed was comfy and reasonably quiet, would recommend of looking for somewhere no frills. It also had a free breakfast which I didn't really have any expectations for but again for the money it was great, fresh coffee, juice, yogurt, toast, a few hot cooked breakfast items, but best of all they had a waffle machine to make your own which were so nice and fresh, so definitely have the place a few extra points!
It was a bit out of town but think there was a bus that went there, or maybe 40 mins walk which wasn't too bad.

This hotel was charging evacuees 400$ per night . And when there was only essential travel allowed in the area and no one to be staying in hotels as rooms were suppose to be used for evacuees They had a different tour bus in 3 nights in a row . Some Evacuees slept in their cars in the parking lot !!!Hallways were dirty and carpets rippled causing a tripping hazard . Tiles in bathroom fell off ,shower curtain ripped mold in shower . Entire room smelt like a wet dog . Staff was pleasant and kind during our stay . However I will never stay in a Comfort Inn ever again!!!

Room tip: Avoid this horrible hotel at all costs . Breakfasts were horrible stale cereal and powdered eggs

This is an excellent, very well managed hotel. Rooms are nice, very clean. Quiet. Beds comfy. Breakfast above average for a chain hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

En route from Vancouver to Banff, a one night stopover to break the journey.
Salmon Arm is quite pleasant but limited stopover town.
The hotel has no evening catering and there are limited restaurant opportunities anywhere nearby.
The rooms and facilities were clean and satisfactory, the beds quite comfortable but dismal outlook. The hot tub was u/s.
The decor is a rather drab beige/brown but for the most part it works.
The inclusive breakfast, in a dim back room with no natural light, was possibly the worst I have experienced in many years of travelling. Paper plates; plastic omelette, bacon like crisps ( chips ) drab hash browns - I gave up.
It was not expected to be the most salubrious and it was only a stopover. But it was still C$240 for the night, bed and breakfast.
