Staff was nice and friendly, we had a ground floor room with a very comfy king bed. The only negotive note is that our bathroom door was filthy and can't believe someone would not see how distugustingly dirty it was.

Great location, BAD room. At first we were under impression we booked RESORT Sandman then only to be disappoined upon arrival to the In-town location. The building where room was located stunk like smoke, we arrived in our room it felt like 100 degrees, A/C didn't work. Decor was aweful! King size bed, w/ Queen headboard, one lousy 8x10 picture on the wall. Then to top it off, the sliding window was being held in place by screws. It litterally felt (single pane) like it was either going to shatter OR fall out of place. Denny's restaurant view is your pool, & to add it's VERY cold. 'Newer' building, might be nicer stay. Otherwise value is NOT there. How bad could it be??BAD!!!

We had stayed here by chance a few years ago and loved it. We stayed again this year because we love the poolside rooms and reasonable rates. It's a very clean well kept place with friendly staff. Not overly fancy, just a very nice clean place to overnight.

A review is a bit of a difficulty. The room was very clean, but very old. It is kind of like a Super 8 or Travel Lodge style, 1970's... Here is the difficulty, if you just want a clean room it is OK but it ends there.
The wireless was not strong enough so I am writing this by a cable connection (Thank goodness I always bring a cable), the TV remote does not work, the TV set is very poor (bad picture).
It seems more like an $85.96 room rather than the $129.00 rate, so I would rate it a bad value.

Been reading the earlier reviews and most dated back to 2009, so here is our impression in Summer 2010.

We normally avoid hotels and stay in motels due to price, but were pleasantly surprised when quoted price of $129 for night for two queens room. Wife and two kids, ages 3 and 6 staying for the one night.

Pool was in good order and kids enjoyed themselves after a long day in the car. Beds were clean and comfortable and mattresses were a little soft, but I personally like that.

One incident where our three year old locked herself in the bathroom and wife went to the front desk to explain that tje door doesn't have a hole for pin to unlock. Housekeeping came immediately and got her out and manager came shortly afterwards to followup. Need to make sure all bathroom doors have the unlock feature!

Otherwise a pleasant stay and recommended for families with kids in particular.
