Only stayed overnight while driving out west. Friendly service and clean rooms, with air conditioning. Would stay again. Close to La Baguette cafe and grocery store across the street. Lots of parking. Surprisingly only heard the train once during the night.

We stayed here two nights. The first was a reservation we made months ago, and the second was a spontaneous repeat visit after we finished our backpacking in Revelstoke National Park. This is not a luxury hotel but is the very epitome of quiet rooms, comfortable beds, excellent service(even for drop-ins) during midsummer. Clean linens, soft beds, clean showers and baths, And you can walk to downtown for all your dinner and entertainment needs or sit on the comfy balcony in the summer warmth with a beer.

We had a good sleep, which was important. Didn't hear any noise. Room appeared clean, but there was a smell that we didn't recognize right away and there were some bugs. Fixtures were off too. It was difficult to find outlets for our phones. Front desk was friendly and helpful. For us it wasn't very comfortable, but that's just our personal preference.

This place is fine for an overnight stop. Room was clean and beds comfortable. We were in room 5, and while it was a little dark, it was fine. I much prefer the cleaning here to rooms where the chemical smells of cleaners and air fresheners overwhelm. No tub, only shower, but that was okay for a night. We have been here 2 summers in a row, and have found this place to be fine for our needs. Found the price good, as well. Would definitely return.

Room 5 dark, dank & oppressive so offered room 7. Woke up to bugs/silverfish in bed & bathroom, were amazed when the receptionist said go elsewhere if we wanted bug free, smoke free, noise-free rooms.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere. Avoid this hotel - sleep in your vehicle if no other hotels available!

Hello Geraldine,
First of all, thank you for taking time to write review. From what you described in your review, it seems like you have slept in a trailer that have no door and in the middle of the forest. We are just kidding ;)
As you know, our lodge locates in the neighbourhood of Revelstoke National park so these little light-attracted bugs are part of our community (there are more of them in the park than in a metro cities). We saw that you enjoyed your wines outside with your room’s door opened so it was a clear invitation to these little bugs to share the room with you.
We remind all of our guests about this and also, about non-smoking policy to ensure that all of our rooms are smoke-free and bugs-free
Anyway, thank you again for your time and we hope you will remember to close your room door the next time if you stay in the property in the Rockies mountain areas.
Kind regards
