Cute old school motel. Walkable distance to town (if you are in decent shape). Our room was a bit crowded but we did have a big service dog taking up most of the usable floor space. Entire property well maintained. Good bed; clean room; nice staff. Decent dog walking area, which is important to us. We would stay here again.

Room Tip:Secure parking at this hotel. Felt very safe here. Go to the park downtown for a stroll....

What is it about a bed that makes it feel luxurious? Whatever it is our beds at the Alpine had it! We were snuggled in the "back", but parking was not a problem. The host was very helpful. We caught the downtown Market on Wednesday.

Highly recommend. Third trip for us. Very Clean, updated. Sofa bed good for kids (adults may need extra comforter to sleep on, but doable according to our friend who got sick and moved out of the shared bedroom). Ample parking. Strong wifi. Laundry on site. Suite was just as expected. Everything works. Excellent front staff and manager. Easy walk to downtown Nelson. Michael (only front staff we spoke with) is unfailingly polite and personable. Sylvia (manager) also excellent to deal with. Had a problem with Booking.com (NOT with Alpine. I strongly advise to stay away from Booking.com). Sylvia and Michael both worked with me to solve it. Took days. Frustrating for everyone, but they both demonstrated care and concern. I will book directly with them next time. Strongly recommend the Alpine Inn.

I recently had a great stay at the Alpine Inn in Nelson, BC, Canada. The room was very comfortable, and the location was perfect for being close to town but not right in it. All the staff (Christopher, Sylvia, Rhonda, and Michael) did everything they could to make sure I had everything I needed.

Wow! We just stayed a night on a cross country trip and this has to be hands down one of the best motels I’ve stayed in. The room was well appointed. It looses like it’s been remodelled recently. The mattresses were comfy with beautiful linens. The kitchenette had everything we needed and the staff was terrific. Top notch across the board.

Great place in Nelson! This Inn has been updated and remodeled. The bed was really comfortable, room was super clean, close to town and a great place to rest after skiing@Whitewater! Only wishlist item was a hairdryer in the room. Shopping in town was interesting and plentiful, lots of great local artists. Don't forget to pick up a Whitewater Cookbook and check out Oso Negro for coffee/breakfast!
