We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite at end of August here for one night on our way to Vancouver Island. We stayed in the suite right next to the office. I was slightly worried that it would be noisy, but it wasn't at all. It was very quiet, with a well equipped kitchen, renovated bathroom and cozy beds. My husband, myself and our 4 year old stayed here. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because the beds and bed linen could be slightly upgraded. They were comfy enough, and certainly for the money, it is a very good deal. I was amazed at how quiet the place was. The manager at the front desk was also extremely friendly, and helped us immediately when it appeared our remote wasn't working properly. We would happily stay here again. In fact, we are planning on it next summer. Thanks for the affordable comfy and quiet stay!

We stayed at the Knights Inn for 2 nights with our daughter. It was affordable and gave us lots of space with two bedrooms and a living area, but the room was quite shabby with paint missing off parts of the wall and the furniture was peeling. The door didn't really fit in the frame properly so I would imagine if we'd been there in the winter it would have been very drafty and cold. With a bit of a touch up it would be a nice little space, almost a small apartment. It was reasonably quiet and not too far off the highway. The full kitchen was nice and would be great if you were there for a longer period of time. It's in the older part of Merritt so there are no fast food locations nearby and really nothing nearby to walk to.
The only other down side was that we had originally booked for one night and then a couple days before we called to see if we could add an extra night and had been told that was fine. When we arrived we were told that the person on the phone had been wrong and that they were booked up, but that there had been a cancellation so we had to move to a different room for the second night, which meant packing up all our stuff and taking it with us for the day as we were there to kayak in Kentucky Alleyne Provincial Park.

Hi Tara

Thanks for your feedback. We have done renovations to all of our 1 bedroom units. They are beautiful and clean and we get compliments daily on them.

Apologies about the room mix up. I am glad we had an extra room to accommodate your second night, not originally reserved. Drop on in and take a look at the reno's :)

Stayed here for a night with a friend while touring through British Columbia for 10 days. Had not pre booked as we were travelling on a KLR bike tour and were stopping randomly. Wow, we scored on this stay. The proprietors were friendly, professional and welcoming. For a mere $10 extra we got a suite with two bedrooms. So well worth the upgrade from an already inexpensive cost! Couldn’t even hear each other snore. Beautiful. Quiet, meticulously clean, affordable and easy to access from highway exit, even though we have never travelled to the Merritt area before. All the staff were accommodating and eager to please. Will be back for sure, you cannot get a better place to stay.

This is by far one of the Best places to stay....if you want Cleanliness...Quiet ....and Affordability this is it....if you're travelling from the Connector to Merritt or Vancouver to Merritt...take the first exit from Vancouver side/ cross the highway from the Connector side....it's the first Motel two minutes off the highway. I stayed here with the Movie Crew for the Duration of the Shoot...the Motel was fully booked , but was absolutely quiet. The proprietors work meticulously to ensure your comfort the beds are comfortable and the rooms are spotless..they are also Pet friendly and literally minutes from any and all Amenities in Merritt. I travel extensively across Canada every year and this Motel is in the Top Percentage across the Country. Hands down..you won't be disappointed..

Thank-you Bert for the review. It was a great experience having the film crew and security staying here for the shoot. We take a lot of pride in our property and the cleaning staff go over and beyond. It is a team effort. If you are ever in the area again, look us up. Have a great Year!!

Our first time there in November passing through from Alberta to Vancouver. Good stopping point. We liked this clean, affordable, well located motel. Room is small but very clean. We make 3-4 trips a year and will stay there in future.
