Whilst driving from Vancouver to Kamloops we stopped off in Hope as we were advised this was a good little town to visit. Just off the Highway we saw the signs for Owl Street Cafe so decided to pop by. So glad we did ! Three of us had homemade mushroom soup and cheese toasties and hubby ordered the Dutch Baby Pancake special. We were advised that the pancake took 15 minutes to cook so we sat outside in the garden as it was a lovely day. We were served at the table - and as typical English we ordered breakfast tea rather than coffee. Four pots of tea arrived fresh and tasty and the soup and cheese toasties soon after. Everything was fantastic, the staff were friendly and service was quick. Hubbys Dutch Baby Pancake was extra special, it was a sweet, large Yorkshire Pudding type dessert with fresh fruit and ice cream.
All in all a great find and would highly recommend a visit. Good value too.
