Could not believe this hidden gem absolutely amazing 5 star menu with REAL food definitely nice place to eat would recommend to anyone coming through from the city!

We have tried to get into Allegra many times over the last number of years - today was our lucky day! The restaurant is tiny, but well laid out and clearly in compliance with the pandemic protocols. Service was quick, friendly and professional, even though we were early for our reservation. The table was laid and set for a well served dinner. The menu is concise and adheres to the focus of the restaurant. Our entrees were very well prepared and beautifully served. The sauces surrounding the meals were fragrant and delicious. Vegetables were properly cooked and complimented the meat. The wine list was limited but had sufficient and appropriate local (BC) products to compliment the meal. All in all, this was a wonderful experience and we would recommend it to any and all. What a wonderful gem for a small city to be very proud of.

Their service was nice and quick. I ordered a chicken Napoli and it was delicious. Covid protocols were followed.

What a find. Superb food, clean restaurant (following all pandemic protocols), and friendly staff. We enjoyed crab cakes, prawns and lamb rack. The chef is a food magician.

Great spacing, menu is on the wall or your phone, servers distance when possible. Was a special occasion so we chose to go out for dinner, which we have not done yet. Food is always amazing. Order bread to take home as you can't get enough of it and have dinner! Can't recommend highly enough.
