Old friends came to the Valley and stayed at Belle Vue. We were invited to join them for an evening and what a treat! I knew our hosts at Belle Vue, Walter and Haideh, from musical theatre and the surprise bonus for guests will be Walter's towering tenor, whether singing opera or pop. Charming and well travelled hosts with fascinating tales and a great sense of humour. Loved the food and ambiance of a waterfront retreat. Thank you.

Their Blackfriar French Toast was to die for! And they even shared the recipe. :) The mountain views were stunning, from our room balcony, the backyard hot tub and our walk along Bates Beach. We stayed in Seth's room; its electric fireplace was the cherry on top. We left the balcony door cracked and slept to the sounds of the ocean. What a relaxing stay! Walter and Haideh's hospitality was top notch.

We spent our first two nights on Vancouver island with Walter and Haideh and have to say we couldnt have wished for a better start to our trip. They are the most hospitable hosts and couldnt have made us more welcome.
The house and location is stunning and the website photographs just do not do justice to the splendour that awaits you.
Breakfast, as noted by many on here, was truly an occasion, and Walter singing as he cooked, well...amazing.
The best part of staying B&B is meeting people who really know the area, and Walter gave us a driving trip we could do around the area, that we could never have planned on our own.
I have to say the highlight, amongst many, for us was arriving home in the dark after dinner in the dark, sitting on our balcony gazing at the incredible stars and listening to an orca family blowing in the sea. Wow dont know how they arranged that one! lol.
We made true friends in Walter and Heideh, and sincerely hope our paths cross again in the future.
it probably goes without sying but we would thoroughly recommend their home to anyone visiting the island.

We stayed at Belle-Vue for two days and right from the start, Walter and Haideh welcomed us like family! Even their two friendly dogs greeted us. The location is fabulous, quiet and waterfront. Breakfast was a gourmet treat. They also were great at suggesting places to visit that we would not have found on our own. Thank-you for a wonderful experience!....Annie & George

This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and we came by it quite by accident as our children were camping nearby at Bates Beach campsite. We needed accommodation nearby and what a wonderful surprise. Our hosts, Walter and Haideh could not have been more welcoming. We were treated like old friends. Our room was divine with a beautiful view of the ocean and the sound of waves washing up on the beach. We stayed two nights (we wished it could have been longer) and were greeted each morning with a fabulous breakfast. Haideh makes awesome juices with all kinds of goodies to start the day off and Walter made delicious shirred eggs with fresh herbs. Haideh even printed off the recipe for me to try and make it at home. We stayed in Gabi's Room which was lovely with a breathtaking view and a lovely cozy bed to curl up in and watch a movie from their vast collection. There were snacks in our room to enjoy and a small fridge with pop and water. A relaxing jacuzzi and a cozy fireplace added to the ambience. I would definitely recommend this lovely get away and have now become a B & B convert. Thank you Walter and Haideh. (Tip and Pocos too)
