If you're looking to go salmon fishing in Campbell River, do yourself a favour and book in with Outsider Charters. I organised a trip with Chris for my boss and his family. With very little notice Chris jumped into action and met us with a very clean and well maintained vessel. Across the board from safety, skill as a fisherman, respect for the fish and the ocean Chis was flawless. I would highly recommend Outsider Charters.

We have now fished with 3 times and all have been fantastic. You will not find a better fishing guide or nicer guy to fish with than Chris. He has a very comfortable boat for 4 people and first rate gear to fish with. If you want the best, book a trip with Chris.

Great trip! Chris looked after three generations of fishermen aged 11, 41 and 84 and everyone had a great time. Awesome boat, comfortable ride and great stories!

Capt. Chris is the real deal. Professional and fun. Great with kids and knows how to catch fish! He came to meet us in Teakerne arm for a day out fishing for our guests and they enjoyed it so much we booked 2 more trips the following week. One half day out of Campbell River and another one out of Teakerne. Great catches every time too. Will be booking again next season.

Strongly recommend Chris with Outsider Charters. Not only did he get us on the fish, but he managed to keep two non fishers (wife and teen son) engaged and interested. (at least I think the teen was interested)
We headed up to Desolation and managed to even cross a pod of Orcas. (although we think he may of planted them)
Great trip.. great fishing.. will hire him again next time we are in town.
