I used to Play their Pitch and Putt Golf Course, for when I was in Therapy we'd often go there to walk around the Trail's. They have a Horseshoe Pit there too by the Swimming Pool. Fish are in the pond, the one located by the Pool.
Nice forested park for walking for running. Has both a perimeter pathway and interior pathways. Small ponds with water fowl. Also has a 18 hole pitch-and-putt golf course.
First time to join this fundraiser event for Burnaby Hospice Society. One of my favorite parks. Central Park is so accessible from the Patterson SkyTrain, by bus on Kingsway or Imperial St. The park is huge, there's two ponds, a play ground for kids, a picnic area, and there's a track in Swangard stadium. There's also lawn bowling, tennis courts and washrooms are everywhere.
I love places in cities where I can get into greenery after a day in an office. Central Park Burnaby is one of them. Walk into the woods and escape the bustle of traffic on wide clean paths.
When you walk around the lakes - it's a very pretty walk with lots of birds and ducks. Some people bring bird seed to feed the animals - Squirrels. Walk is very level so anyone with a disability can enjoy.
I enjoy walking my dog through the numerous extensive trails, my dog & I love it. This big park has lots of beautiful tall trees so cooler in the summer. Haven't used these but there are many picnic tables, tennis courts, an outdoor fitness equipment circuit, golf course, ponds where miniature ships are raced, Tai Chi groups practice here.
