We were drawn to this park by the amazing fall color. We enjoyed the art museum and the nice walk ways around the museum site. The trees were in fall orange glory mode and well worth the stop.
We often go to Deer Lake Park for a walk. It's so peaceful and fresh air all over. Sometimes it is crowded but you can get a great walk anytime of the day.
Very beautiful park conviently located. Lots of parking areas.
You can rent pedal boats and kayaks on the lake.
The geese can be a bit aggressive, so watch your fingers.
There is a very small playground for kids where you rent boats, but a much bigger one by the shadbolt center.
A park with many paths, even easy to stroll around for the untrained one. The park hides quite a treasures.
Beautiful lake and the view of Vancouver city. Boats rentals, breathtaking garden, and a historic village combined make this Park a gem.
Deer Lake Park is a great green space just off of Canada Way and next to City Hall in Burnaby. Parking is free and abundant when concerts and events are not being held at the park.
There is a wonderful art gallery, interesting heritage buildings, lots of green space and vistas of Metrotown and the Lake. Take the time to peek at the Century Garden, interesting art and the playground. At the south east end, there is a beach with concession stand and boat rentals. Delightful in good weather!
