As mentioned before it is an acronym for Waffles, hamburgers etc but this little treasure of a restaurant was a real treat for us. We go to Drumheller every year and have our favourites but didn't know this place existed until now. It will be a regular stop for us every year. I had peach melba waffles and my girls had waffles with other various fruits and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were so friendly and efficient, our waitress went around with a coffee pot and a hot water pot for tea topping everyone's cups as she went by. Although we had one waitress, we were served by others who were happy to top up our cups too. They were very busy, and buzzing but all of the servers seemed really pleasant, punctual and efficient. The food was amazing and the portions were rediculously huge but the friendly service is just what you need when travelling. I loved this place and even thought the outside of the building was charming - it's old. The inside is very cozy and the train is a real hoot! - if you go to Drumheller - check out this restaurant - you won't be disappointed. I learned of it's exsistence from a local I met on main street who recommended it - she was so right!!
