What a wonderful cottage. Well furnished. Comfortable bed. Very well equipped. Plenty to do. Fishing, pool, table tennis. There were racks of books and other sports equipment in a Nissen hut in the grounds. There is even a small 'Pitch and Putt' course.
The owners are helpful but not intrusive. They will make you fresh bread to order and there are newly laid eggs if the chicken are laying. Children will love the chicken and ducks that wander around the grounds. Some people might find the railway line at the end of the grounds a little noisy but you very quickly get used to it. Don't bring your alarm clock, one of the cockerels will arrange a 'wake up call' for you.More
