Hotel Chantelcer has been known for many years as a popular destination for weekend escapades with sumptuous meals in its bright restaurant, bar or terrace overlooking the mountain and lake, while skiers speed downhill in front of the windows. this is why I gave it a 5 rating for atmosphere.
Evening Table d’hôte meals including soup and desert starting at $29.95. The service is cheerful, warm and friendly. Bread rolls, butter and cold water with a slice of lemon are served upon seating. The soup is served hot and delicious, the pasta cooked al-dente, and the beautifully decorated desert is as good as the rest of the meal, so keep space for it! If you go for Sunday brunch ($23.95 pp) which includes hot & cold buffet, desert tables, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. It would be a good idea to reserve ahead of time!
