We had a lovely big room on the main floor. The bathroom definitely needs some repair and up dating for sure. The carpet in the main entrance room needed to be cleaner. We felt the owner and staff to be very humble, but did not seem comfortable with greeting or spending time with guests. The breakfast was very lovely, and the girl at breakfast was very pleasant. We did not get to meet the owner's wife, as she was busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast. We delayed in writing the review, as we do not want to appear negative, but felt that it could have been a better experience due to lack of communication. We wish you a successful rest of the season. Most sincerely, N. J. and J. J.

Room Tip: Bathroom step on main level room is a bit tricky. Bathroom needs updating for sure.

We arrived in a downpour and the owners made sure we had help bringing things in, carried umbrellas and practically dried us off when we were done. You can tell that they love running this Inn. This set the tone for the rest of our stay. We only were there for one night, but this is where we will come when we travel through the are again!

Our room was charming! Right at the top of the flight of stairs. Quaint decorations and comfy bed. En suite bathroom. Fabulous town and great location in it.

There is a grocery store on a neighboring property. It did not bother our sleep, but they do run AC and have have early morning deliveries. If it matters to you, ask to be placed on one of the other sides.

While I am giving the Inn a 4-star rating, the breakfast was 5-stars! Maybe 6-stars. So good it almost makes you wonder if people are booking the Inn just to have the breakfast. Seriously.

Saint Andrews was a quick one night stay, but I would recommend the town and the Inn on Frederick as a great stop for anyone on the road. Charming inn and a great location to park your car an explore by foot after a long day of driving. The owners were very kind and made a phenomenal breakfast that held us over as we hit the road the next day for PEI.

We stayed at the Inn on Fredrick for one night recently. The Inn is located on a quieter side street but within a block of the main street through Saint Andrews where all the shops and restaurants are. We asked for a room on the main floor and it was very spacious, with some antique furniture and very nicely decorated. The bathroom, as well, was enormous. (The only niggle I had was that there wasn't a spare toilet roll provided, not a major problem but unusual just the same). The television was having some issues as well but we weren't that bothered since we weren't there to watch tv anyway.

Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast in the beautiful dining room in the morning was a work of art and very tasty. Our host, Jay, had some good suggestions and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: No elevator but there are a couple of rooms on the ground floor. Free parking on site

What a pleasant stay we had! This B & B is out of the ordinary. The 185 years old house is situated right in town and within walking distance of most historical sites and attractions. The house was renovated to today’s standards but kept some vintage touches like original doors and handles. Our room and bathroom were clean and tidy, the bed very comfortable. The staff is polite, attentive and helpful. The service is impeccable. The gourmet breakfast is served in a period dining room where nothing was spared to make you feel relaxed and content. Served at tables, the full breakfast includes fresh fruits, yogurt, eggs cooked in a different way everyday and accompanied by French toast, thin pancake etc and with soft music playing in background. There is attention to details in every aspect and we loved our stay there !

Based on the great reviews this B&B had on Trip Advisor, we had a great two night stay at the Inn On Frederick. The hosts were very gracious and we're helpful when it came to meeting our needs. The breakfasts were wonderful. You can not beat the location. The Inn is close to everything. I would return there again if I were to travel in that direction.

Room Tip: Great location.
