We reeled in our limit thanks to Roy. Great boat and great captain, great fishing and great memories. Roy explained everything to the newbies and made sure us oldtimers were up to snuff as well.We had only booked a half day, but stayed for a full day as the bite was on and the weather was awesome. We'll be back in the spring to go for halibut with Blue Wolf Charters.

Two buddies and our wives booked a day on the water, we had a very successful fishing trip, Roy knows where to find fish! His boat is terrificly outfitted with a stand up head, running water, heater, bunk for naps. Our wives were very happy with the level of comfort. Bring a lunch and your favourite bevvies, and clothes appropriate for the weather. Roy supplies water, sunscreen, stories and expertise. All gear and tackle are included. Be ready to reel in some beauties! We'll be back next year !

My husband and son went out salmon fishing with Roy in August. They were excited about the experience since they had never been salmon fishing. Roy gave them a wonderful time. He knew all about the area as well as the fishing. They really enjoyed themselves and I would highly recommend anybody spending the day with Roy.

We were a family of four that went out on a fishing trip with Blue Wolf Charters. Roy was our captain and guide for the day. For this trip you need to make sure you have warm clothes, snacks and drinks. We went out on day that was hot on shore but as we moved out into open water the temperature dropped. The boat is outfitted with all the bait and tackle that are required. We just sat back and waited for the fish to bite. We caught a 6 and a 16 pound chinook salmon. Roy was a great entertainer and guide for the day. When the water became too rough, he turned the boat back towards the harbour and got us safely back to shore. Back at the harbour, Roy fileted and bagged our fish for our journey back to Victoria. Our guide from whale watching said that Roy was a legend...this was a true statement. We caught some good fish and they were delicious!
