Service was a bit limited in English but I'm French and helped my table order. Restaurant had good atmosphere, more upscale menu with pub fare comforts.

Expected more, it wasn't our first visit but had been years.
Bread available upon request. Wine by glass was flat not fresh. We're appetizer people but opted out their nightly selection didn't appeal to us.

My seafood linguine with pesto was ok but lacked something, I think there's 7 different types of seafood but was a bit too much. I eat fish but picked around others and filled on linguine. The seafood sizes were very small too. Would not re-order.

My partner's steak was only fair too. The fries were VERY good however lol.

We highly recommend the dessert! Maple ice cream with dark chocolate lava.

...
Had breakfast the next morning 'a-la-carte' which is made to order after buffet. It was good.

This restaurant is in the hotel. We were seated promptly and had great service. The décor is lovely. I hoped they had a Striploin steak but the only beef they had at that time was a Flank Steak with Pepper sauce so I ordered that. The beef was done perfectly but I don’t care for the sauce to be all over my meat. Personally I’d rather have it on the side and dunk the bites into it, but I never thought to order it that way. The fries were nice. My husband though had the Fish and Chips. He said the batter was doughy and the fries were over done, so I shared my fries with him. He had the local beer “La Rimouski” and he enjoyed that. If we came back this way I would likely try this restaurant again.

I've ordered room service on my first night and it was really disappointing. The staff was nice though so it somewhat made up for the lesser quality of the food. Onion Soup was a bit too sweet to my taste and the burger, too salty.

Breakfast were OK. Service is good but the hostess was not too fiendly, rarely smiled. With that position, the restarant should look for someone with much better social skills.

I agree that the mussels with salmon and asparagus were outstanding. They were served in a pot with a side of fries which were crunchy (my favorite).

Would definitely return for the mussels. I had the turbot on another night and it was good, but not as good as the mussels.

Location is convenient when staying at Hotel Rimouski.
