We stayed at De la Republique provincial park for a stop over while traveling back to Hamilton from an east coast tour. We asked a couple of locals for a good restaurant close by and we were recommended subway, McDonald's and a wood oven pizza place. I asked about Les Jardins but was told it was just a motel. From these choices we decided to try the pizza (for obvious reasons). On the way we passed Les Jardins and noticed tables in the front window and decided we should stop and check it out for ourselves. Thank goodness we did!! We were greeted with a warm welcome, the chef agreed to stay a little late for us and Parise our hostess/server was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Our dinners were delicious and presented beautifully with enough to fill our hearty appetites. The Inn was warm, cosy and inviting with intricate detail and old world charm. If we hadn't been staying in our own accommodations we would have loved to have stayed here. We highly recommend this great place to stay at or to enjoy a lovely meal in a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere.
