Went with a friend while on vacation and this place was great! It had a lot of amenities we weren't expecting. Clean and accommodating, if we were in search of something for our stay there, it had everything we needed.
It is very close to the outside so must expect bugs so if you are wary of them, bring bug spray.
Stayed here on a last minute jaunt to Lunenburg. Motel is located within walking distance of historic downtown Lunenburg and has the basic amenities (fridge, microwave, free wifi, etc) but is in definite need of an update. Bathrooms are particularly outdated and the shower leaked water all over the floor.
Independent family owned traditional motel that has been completely updated. This property has been maintained very well, extremely clean and very comfortable. Not far at all from the water front of Lunnenberg, easy drive and also walkable. The owners have a lot of pride in their property as they should. Would definitely stay here again!
My husband and I stayed at the Homeport Motel in a queen size bedroom. The room itself was very spacious, the bed/bedding very good, and the room was equipped with everything you need. And this at a very reasonable price in a fairly high-price town.
Great location to see Lunenberg. Dog friendly, immaculately clean, safe, and quiet. Very basic "kitchen," really just a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine, but good enough for a short stay.
No breakfast served here, so the price ($138 CAD per night) seemed a little high. Wifi was broken and the owner, a very nice lady, tried hard to get the service provider to fix it over a weekend. No big deal. We were busy seeing the sites.
Overall, a comfortable stay.
