We stayed at Homeport which was very close to the historic district and next to a large grocery store. The room was nice but could use some updating. It was clean and they were very accommodating. The room had all the amenities we needed including free Wi-Fi, frig, microwave, etc. We were able to make dinner on the gas grill one night and it was very quiet.
This was a good place for my wife and I but if we had a young family it would be perfect. The room has a little fridge with a freezer a microwave and all the cutlery and dishes you would might
Need. It even has a cutting board. You have access to a gas BBQ and along with a coffee maker and coffee it has tetley tea!
We loved the bed extra pillows and the best shower we have had all trip.
The only reason it was a 4 and not a 5 was that we were likely the first guests of the season in our room and it need to be aired out because the carpets smelled a little musty. Not a big deal but not a 5. The sheets and towels etc were very clean and there was no dust on anything.
By the way most of their rooms are pet friendly so if you are allergic you can ask for a room that had never had pets in it.
Went with a friend while on vacation and this place was great! It had a lot of amenities we weren't expecting. Clean and accommodating, if we were in search of something for our stay there, it had everything we needed.
It is very close to the outside so must expect bugs so if you are wary of them, bring bug spray.
Stayed here on a last minute jaunt to Lunenburg. Motel is located within walking distance of historic downtown Lunenburg and has the basic amenities (fridge, microwave, free wifi, etc) but is in definite need of an update. Bathrooms are particularly outdated and the shower leaked water all over the floor.
Independent family owned traditional motel that has been completely updated. This property has been maintained very well, extremely clean and very comfortable. Not far at all from the water front of Lunnenberg, easy drive and also walkable. The owners have a lot of pride in their property as they should. Would definitely stay here again!
