I had the pleasure of taking both the Haunted and Essential walking tours which exceeded my expectations. In particular, Shelah, Ashlee and Kerriann are authentic 8th-10th generation Lunenburger's who so obviously enjoy sharing their home and history with humour, personal anecdotes and vast knowledge. The haunted tour started at the bottom and worked it's way up but wasn't too difficult, even for my poor knees. The essential tour started from the top and worked it's way down. I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting that personal flavour.

We booked our tour for the first day of our week-long stay in Lunenburg as a way to get acclimated to the area. It worked out perfectly! Denise was our guide and gave us lots of historical information about the area as well as tips for great coffee, days trips, etc. Well worth the price! The booking and pre-trip communication was flawless. Five stars too be sure!

After attending outstanding tours in Annapolis and Yarmouth, I thought it would be hard for anyone to equal Alan Melanson(Annapolis) or Candace(Yarmouth); however Ashlee Fenner certainly matched them in all aspects. She was for lack of a better superlative, FABULOUS!
The fact that her ancestors were among the founders of Lunenburg made it that much more interesting.
The passion and enthusiasm pours out of her. She is an outstanding communicator and story teller.
This tour, as are the other 2, are definitely among the highlights of our wonderful 12 days in Nova Scotia.
Great job Ashlee!!! You rock !!!!!

I knew my daughter (age 10) and I, who are big fans of all things spooky, would love this tour. Since we are having a family weekend we encouraged the rest of the family to come with us. We were greeted and checked in by co-owner Shelah. She is super friendly and efficient. Our tour guide, co-owner, Ashlee was friendly, knowledgable and funny. Our kids (10, 12 & 15) enjoyed carrying lanterns as we wound our way through the town, ending the tour in the cemetery. The stories, both ghost and history were well told and very interesting. Even my 15 year old son, who didn't want to come and we had to drag away from the wifi, really enjoyed himself and was happy he participated. It was a wonderful way to spend an evening.

We had an excellent time on the walking ghost tour of the historic town of Lunenburg. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to give us a good mix of historic facts and scary stories. We were a large group made up both young children and adults and she had a rehearsed story to tell but was able to adjust and improvise as comments were made and questions were asked. This was not out first trip to Lunenburg but it certainly was the most enjoyable one...so far. I loved the ghost walk and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn a little bit of the history and lore of this beautiful town.
