Highly recommend this haunted walking tour, our guide was an 8th generation lunenburger and she was very informative. Our favourite part was probably touring the St. John’s Anglican Church (wow) if in lunenburg do this tour.

We booked the Lunenburg Haunted tour last minute after a long day of sightseeing and man, this was hands down one of the BEST things we did in Nova Scotia! Liz was our tour guide and she was PHENOMENAL! She has this talent for storytelling and we were glued to her lips! The tour was filled with alot of banter between Liz and the other guests, making it an incredibly enjoyable evening! Learnt so much and had a blast doing it!

The Haunted Lunenburg tour was a great way to end off my night in the town! Katherine was an extremely informative local tour guide who had a wealth of knowledge about the area and the haunted places we ended up visiting. The tour wasn't overly spooky, which I was glad for, and makes this tour perfect for families of all ages!

Booked the 2pm Essential Lunenburg Tour on my phone at around 11am the same day. Not sure if you need to book further ahead on weekends or in the high season. The meeting place was easy to find with a sign in front of the landmark academy building but be warned that this is a significant uphill walk so leave extra time. We arrived early and visited the public library in the building, which has restrooms. The starting point is strategic as the tour itself winds downhill towards the water. Lots of interesting information on the local architectural styles, both homes and churches, and the history of the settlement, without being too long. Guide was a gentleman who grew up in Lunenburg and also leads tours internationally so lots of knowledge and experience to draw on.
