Owner description: We are the oldest continuing operating Drive In theatre in all of Canada having opened in 1952. We are unlike any other Drive In experience in the country. Nestled among many indigenous trees like pine and birch, we are unique in that we have a cement movie screen that as built on top of a giant rock that is located on the theatre property. But just not any rock, the screen was built upon Canadian Shield Granite Rock! We have a kid's playground with many of the original play equipment including a giant sand pit filled with toys. We still play cartoons to start the night, vintage intermission snack bar clips and do draws for prizes every night we are open. We are still the ultimate Drive In experience filled with fun, families and nostalgia!

First time here with the kids. Such a great little spot. A guy on the BBQ making burgers, hotdogs and sausages, with a great selection of condiments. 50 cent refills on popcorn. The guy at the front taking your money had candy suckers ready to give to the kids. Signs were posted "Do not feed the wildlife", (which I thought was kind of funny-never went to a drive-in that ever said this before) that's when you know you are up north.Truly a wonderful experience.

Went on a cool summer night with two children (5 and 10). Felt like the "good 'ol days" with the big screen, snack bar, playground and perfect screen. Kids had a blast and kept saying how awesome it was. So glad that our children got to experience this sort of thing like we did as kids.
Took the advice from others and bought the nets from the dollar store. Tied them to the back of our van with the hatch open. Kept most of the mosquitoes out. Bring bug spray if you are outside!
Hope to go back again very soon.

You will not be disappointed coming here! You get to see more than one film a night for approx 5$ a person, the popcorn and food is way cheaper and better than at the cinema! It's good for kids and adults alike- thoroughly enjoyed my evening and will be in attendance again soon!
