The Riverview Building is not in the same grounds as the Riverside complex. Although only a short drive away going by foot to the Rec. Facilities by foot is another matter. You really literally have walk along the highway. This is unlit at night.
The units themselves are quite good, A/C only in the living room, not in bedroom.Keep away from the B sides on the ground floor with the exception of the two end units, cars park right up to the patio area.
There is a recreation centre that has an indoor pool, but always cold water in the change rooms. There an outside 'hot tub', lukewarm really. There is an inside hot tub but woefully undersized for a complex this big., at best 6 person hot tub. There ia a sauna and steam room .Also in this Rec. Centre is an exercise room, shuffleboard and a good sized TV/ lounge room.No alcohol sold on premises.Provincial Liquor Store in Invermere. Can buy alcohol in grocery store in Fairmont at higher prices
Vehicle essential here.Hotsprings 6 or 7 mins drive up the hill.
Maintenance and cleanliness very good.

We have been here coming here since around 2003 once or twice a year and this is the first time we have wished never to come back to Riverside. The units are being totally renovated but done at the expense of the visitors. The furniture and quality of renovations are low grade and the floors and ceilings do not have sound proofing. So if you have someone above you like we had, well they are worse than elephants walking around. We can here them moving furniture and stomping on the floors as early as 04:15 am and this is very annoying, we come to rest and relax but found impossible to achieve this. We called guest services and apparently they could not achieve any sense of feeling from them for the other guests. Some people have turned out to be down right rude and do not care about anyone or anything but themselves. Thats just the way of the world now. Time to sell off this timeshare!!!!!

This resort has a great location with many day trips available. This time of year was great to two older people like us, the roads were good and the scenery was fantastic. Took days trips to Fort Steele, Banff, Jasper and the icefields, Lake Louise, etc. Saw many wild animals, deer, caribou, dall sheep, etc, We had a great vacation. The only negative was that the remodel of bilding 800 had some hot water problems that were resolved on the 3rd day and the sauna and steam rooms were not up to normal for an RCI resort.

It has been a few years since I was here last, but many of the units have recently been given a face-lift. The building exteriors have been cleaned up and the interiors of the units were renovated and updated. Furniture and amenities were in good shape and showed little (if any) signs of wear and tear.

We are from No.Idaho and this area is only about 3-4 hours from us, weather permitting. Love going to Fairmont Hot Springs and surrounding areas. We have been to this resort twice. First time we had a second floor unit with a view and balcony. This last time we asked for a first floor, but all you see is the cars parked in front of you and therefore can’t open blinds all the way. The front desk staff was so helpful, especially with my iPad. The indoor pool is small and because of spring break was always full of children. Which is expected, but maybe an adults only time would be nice. We are seniors, so don’t do as much, , etc. This the first week of April, so quite cool and some things were not open. No snow tho. Golf course was open. A very nice area and always friendly people. The grocery store is amply equipped and has a good deli. The “springs” are very close.
