We stayed for two nights in a family suite (unit 3). It had a queen bed/living area/partial kitchen in one area, separate bedroom with a double and single bed. There is a partial wall between the two areas but no door. Full bathroom. It had the spaciousness that our family was looking for. Property has campsites, cabins, and motel rooms. Our unit faced a pond with a fountain. The unit is dated but had all the basics we needed-if you are looking to cook in your room, it contains a full fridge, hot plate, microwave, and coffee maker and minimal supplies. It was perfectly located near the entrance to Wells Gray park but we didn’t hear any noise from the road or from the folks staying in the campsite. We did get to smell their campfires which created a nice ambience as we sat at the picnic tables outside. The front counter staff were friendly and helpful. We were travelling when BC had just been opened back up for non-essential travel so there were certain things you should check into before you go: the pool and restaurant weren’t open, and the staff cannot enter your room during your stay to bring new towels, empty the garbage, provide new toilet paper, etc. You can ask for supplies at the front. While overall we found this property was great for our family for a couple of days, the downside in our unit was the very loud noise coming from the unit above (#9). They were early risers and late to come home at night and the noise from their footsteps or whatever they were doing woke us up repeatedly. It was like elephants were bowling up there. Wells Gray park waterfalls are easily accessed by car from here and are beautiful. Also recommend the Painted Turtle restaurant.

Grounds are nice. Cabins are old and outdated. Refrigerator was very noisy. TV was very small. Rooms are OK.
The restaurant was terrible. Food was old and overpriced. Buns were mouldy. Charged 2 bucks for 1/2 a slice of processed cheese for my grandsons hot dog. My wife’s beef dip was rotten and tasted mouldy. Charged 4.50 for a glass of chocolate milk. I won’t be back.

We rented a cabin and
The room smelled strongly of air freshener or cleaners it was overwhelming. I wouldn’t camp here for a long period of time as sites are closer together and lack privacy, it was also very dusty as the roads are dirt roads and if your sitting outside it’s not ideal. The pond didn’t smell very pleasant either and probably needs a clean or some treatments. The cabin itself was private, clean and comfortable as well as quiet. It’s close to the sites and town.

This place is great. Check in and staff were wonderful. The property was beautiful. The only problem was the rain so we couldn't be outside and enjoy it more. Very nice place. Would definitely go back

Room tip: I think all rooms are good

Pleasant surprise to stay in a large cabin with 2 queen beds. Spotlessly clean with large bathroom and kitchenette. Nice deck as it was an upstairs unit. Staff very friendly and helpful. The majority of the KOA is for camping but there are several cabins both small and large. Had a refrigerator, dinette set, microwave and coffee maker. There are dishes and some cookware. Close to shopping center and Wells Gray entrance. Very pretty park like setting. Highly recommend.

Room tip: Excellent, clean and roomy
