We stopped here for 1 night en route to Jasper, and regretted that we didn't spend a few days here. The location is beautiful, the accommodation is large and has a kitchen area, small terrace, and lovely views. There is also a launderette for use by guests, great for those of us travelling light. The lake is lovely, and the restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic location .
Peaceful & quiet .
Beautiful views across the lake .
Free canoes to use along with a hot tub.
You need to book for dinner.
Which was ok but very limited menu & expensive for what you got !
Breakfast was ok but nothing special .
No self service cereal, fruit & yogurt.
Either have cereal or a cooked breakfast!
Shame it said -‘no substitutions ‘ !
When we left - no thanks for staying, enjoy the rest of your trip.......
shame !

We were recommended AMR by our travel agent as an overnight stopover hotel en route to Whistler. What a shame!
Once you arrive the resort is amazing. Our room was a very modern villa with spacious rooms, good sized bathroom and a balcony that opened up in front of a beautiful lake.
The restaurant/bar was a short stroll where you could get good food and a drink at very reasonable prices.
AMR is surrounded by woods and wildlife. Unfortunately we didn’t get long enough to stay and explore all it had to offer but if the chance arises to visit again then we would certainly stay here for longer.

Loved this place. Around 20k from town up a well maintained track/road the Alpine resort is a great place to unwind. The chalets are well equipped. WiFi in the chalets is a little flakey and not available in the restaurant but when surrounded but such beauty who needs the internet. Rowing boats and kayaks are available. There are 3 trails within the complex for you to enjoy. I can recommend the pancakes for breakfast. Staff were very friendly.

Alpine meadows was part of our touring trip and provided us with the best surprise of the trip, giving us fab accomodation with a wonderful view over the lake.
Quality accomodation, fully fitted kitchen ( which we were not expecting) comfortable bed and great balcony. Had we known about the kitchen we'd have collected some supplies back in Clearwater, however we may then have missed the restaurant on site which we really enjoyed, sitting out on the terrace watching the beavers trundle across the mirror calm lake was simply perfect. We liked breakfast too which was included in our deal, actually liked it being served to us .
Used the complimentary canoes and kayaks and the hot tub was wonderful.
The road to reach alpine meadows is a doddle in comparrison to some we travelled on our trip, it is mostly dirt once you're a couple of miles out of clearwater and has a couple of accents and decents and takes around 30 minutes from Clearwater. A regular rental car will make it ok but you will need to take it pretty slow, the road isn't very busy so don't let it deter you from staying here!
Our biggest regret of our overall trip was that we didn't spend more time here, perfect accomodation, good food, good service and a feeling of being far more remote than you actually are

Room tip: try and get a lake view
