We stayed here in August and loved the location with expansive views of the mountains behind. Terry and his wife were very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. We booked the Deluxe King room that had large windows with views of the moountains and french doors out to the large back deck and the hot tub deck below. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite lovely with large double shower stall. The dinner was amazing and is only available for guests of the lodge. We went to the kitchen to extend our appreciation to the chef after our meal and you could tell he really enjoyed his craft. We would definately recommend this place to everyone.

This is a great place to stay in Bella Coola. My wife and I were there July 8 to 10th. She had to go to Bella Coola on business and I went along because I had never visited Bella Coola and I wanted to check it out. The Bella Coola Eagle Lodge is in a good location and it's well run. Our room was facing the parking lot, and that was fine, but there are other rooms facing the mountains to the south and I can only imagine how beautiful the views must be from there. The breakfasts were awesome (AWESOME). The dining room faces mountains to the south, with tall windows that show off the majestic view. The whole lodge is extremely comfortable and well organized. The rooms are comfy. They even have cool little motion sensing LED night lights in the washrooms that help you see at night. It's that kind of thoughtful touch that makes for a good experience. There are 2 driveway entries into the lodge from the road, so it makes a horseshoe around a lawn to the front of the lodge. Exiting the parking onto the highway is super easy because you can easily see cars coming on both the left and right. There are bears all over the placein Bella Coola so you have to watch out for them. The lodge backs into some heavy woods. We heard some horns one night just around the side of the lodge because some of them apparently got too close. The back lawn is around 100 yards deep and very wide. You can use their 2 driving range pads and do some chipping if you like golf. That was fun. You can also shoot some hoops on a small court, and a whole bunch of other activities. Hot tub, yes, BBQ, yes, the list goes on. It's all just comfy. I highly recommend this lodge. There are other nice places to stay right in Bella Coola, too. The whole place is nice. But if you want a unique experience and you're willing to drive out of town a few minutes, stay at Bella Coola Eagle Lodge.
