The setting of Eagle Lodge at the base of a couple of peaks is quite amazing, with the view out the back lawn perfectly framed, with a practice golf hole to boot! The owners are very welcoming and friendly and have created a really impressive small resort. We were there in the summer and enjoyed hiking in the area. The rooms are spacious and spotless. Looking forward to returning!

Room tip: There are only 5 rooms, 4 facing the highway and more distant mountains, and one facing the extensive back yard and close in views.

This is a great place to stay. We had the King Deluxe room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The breakfast bar offers a lot of choices accompanied by eggs and bacon/sausage. Fresh muffins, oatmeal and a variety of juices are on hand. The common rooms are expansive with a variety of seating, pool table, and a fireplace. We felt like we were in an art gallery....an eclectic mix and treasures on each wall. Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. A beautiful place in a beautiful area.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room, the friendly staff and the location. Midway between Bella Coola and Ha , baked goods, gensborg, it is easy to get to anywhere for tours or trails. We had a dog and so were on the bottom floor. We had no t.v. (advertised there was) but there is a games room upstairs swith pool table, music and board games. Included breakfast is fairly standard but has many different types of teas, good coffee, baked goods, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage. Fridge has juices and yogurt. They even have bear spray for guests! We enjoyed our visit. It would have been 5 stars except for no t.v. .

Room tip: Upstairs is closer to amenities. Downstairs (by parking) is for guests with dogs

The Eagle Lodge is just a short drive from Bella Coola, situated on a large property with large, clean & comfortable rooms, as well as several indoor & outdoor common areas for you to relax & enjoy, including several areas for the kids to play. The outdoor hottub, with its stunning view of the mountains & waterfalls is a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking the nearby trails. The staff are super friendly & helpful, and breakfast is included. Tea, coffee & fruit are available at no cost 24 hrs a day, or if you prefer, there is a cafe/bistro ($) in the building that will make your specialty coffee drinks. We wish we could have stayed longer . . .

This is an excellent place to stay for a couple of days before grabbing the ferry.

About 7 km out of town, but plenty of places to sit relax and have a drink.

We sat outside on one (1) day before dinner and it was great. The other it drizzled with rain.

The Lodge caters for guests only and the food was awesome. Chief and the helper do a great job serving 15 on one night and >20 on the next. No real delays and the three (3) course meal for $50 was excellent. The wine was great also.

Room tip: All rooms are great
