It is, as others write, a modern B & B, with each room beautifully decorated. However, at breakfast, the host was aloof and unfriendly, which put a chill on things. We got the feeling he really didn't want to be a part of the Bed and Breakfast gambit. Enough said.

This is a very modern B&B with "New England" charm. We had the top floor Garrett room for the three of us so there are a lot of stairs to get up there. However the view from the bedroom was fabulous. The hosts are very nice and the breakfast was wonderful. They seem to get a lot of repeat business and I can understand why. The room doesn't have a shower other than a "telephone shower" on the bath taps if you are a "shower person". They do state this when booking however. Very highly recommended!

Room tip: The Garrett Room has fabulous views of the harbour

This was our second visit to the Seacliffe. Every room is comfortable and well decorated. There are a lot of stairs if you are in the Garret but the view is worth it! Briggs is gorgeous. Make sure you tour the town in detail. Great hosts, great meals, outstanding comfort. Seagulls will screech you up in the morning.

In contrast to nearby Cupids, Brigus is a neat little hamlet of picturesque cottages with a beautiful wee harbour, great views out to sea, and a secret tunnel dug for the famous Captain Bartlett (of the Peary expedition to the North Pole). It's just great to walk around here, and have a nosh at the North Street Cafe (see my review)

This is a beautiful B&B, well appointed with lovely views of the Atlantic. We stayed 2 nights in the spacious Garrett Room. The only drawback was the claw foot tub- we prefer a shower. Otherwise perfect. Great patio for seating as well as comfortable indoor common space. Donna & Ted were helpful and gracious hosts. Wonderful breakfasts every morning with local berries and preserves. The town was quaint with many lovely walks. Cupids and Roberts Bay within easy reach by car.
