i didn't realize the wolf centre was on tripadvisor or i'd've certainly left a review long since! we brought my daughter, then 5yrs old (she's nearly 6 now) and it was just wonderful. the hands-on activities were great - she wasn't too certain about the mounted exhibits but she really liked all the touchy-feely stuff while i had fun with the weight-lifting exercise. the wolves were out and they were simply magnificent but alas, no sighting of the new litter. that would've been the cherry on top.

length of visit is hard to say - if the wolves are out, we could've watched them all day but without the wolves, an hour or two is sufficient.

We visited the Haliburton Forest last February to do some snowmobiling and had a great time. We stayed in one of the on site rooms and it was functional and clean. We ate each night at the on site restaurant and the food was very good. We have booked again for the upcoming season and are looking forward to it.

We had a great time exploring the trails. Not sure about the classification of some of the trails - some moderate seemed extreme whilst other moderates wide & gentle & very easy. However it was a great day & very good to improve bike handling skills!

The walk in the clouds tour is amazing! The wolf reserve is very interesting. Visiting the sled dogs was fun.

The reserve was nicely constructed for the wolf pack.

Unfortunately, the day before we went, they fed the wolf so they were not active (We were there for a good hour and didn't see any wolf). So it would be good idea to call ahead and ask if the wolf are active before going.
