Went to Sandbanks Provincial Park on Saturaday. What a cool place. The dunes are a lot higher than I expected and you can walk on them along the water front. Although this is late in the year, there were still a few hardy soles swimming. The beach is very nice. The sand is great. Ether sand than most beaches in the Caribbean.
There is a nice walkway through the dunes. Great place to spend a summer day. There are also camping sites in the provincial park.

Also see a milk snake near the dunes. Very beautiful snake.

We came in September and stayed 3 nights on lot 4 of Outlet A camp ground. The process was very easy. Site was clean. Clean comfort station nearby. The most beautiful sunsets and beaches I've seen!

So much beach!! and you can bring your dog to one part. You can walk out forever and it's still shallow. In September it wasn't too crowded, but the ice cream shop was open!

Travelled there with a larger 5th wheel. Beautiful site 673. Private, clean and shaded given the summer like heat. One of the best fresh water beaches we've seen!
Couple of things to be aware of. The roads in Woodlands campground (which is where most larger equipment needs to go) are very curvy and narrow. Getting into some sites could be problematic as they almost all back in. Some of the electrical posts are out near the edge of the site at the road so you may need a couple or more lengths of electrical supply.
They opened a brand new campground this summer which is perfect for even the largest of trailers. Oddly though, no pets allowed in this area. And it is right out in the open and very warm when sunny.
Then there is the super high demand which makes getting a reservation almost impossible during the summer.
Anyway, absolutely beautiful park with lots of great wineries in the area. Well worth the trip.
