This place is difficult to find unless you can read the Thai road signs. It is a distance to the west between Tha Yang and Hua Hin. This project has been initiated by the King who visits it often. Open buses drive visitors along and though planted fields viewing the Dutch cows, the windmills and orchards. No English spoken. I understand this to be a research operation in "self sufficiency". For myself this visit was not that interesting, but for the Thai public it is educational as they are not used to the western way of acriculture.

Chang Hua Man is a wonderful place:
-To enjoy beautiful landscape in the heart of the mountain
-To learn about traditional culture of Thai farmers & green energy
-To relax in a very peaceful & quiet place ( very few tourists )
-To play bicycle for 1,2,3 people, very funny! ( free of charge )
45mn from the Cha Am & Hua Hin beaches, by visiting this place you will come back in your country with another idea of Thailand. People at that place are very nice.
Just out of CHM, there is a very small shop for food & drink ( easy to park ). Don't hesitate to stop there; you will meet the true of Thailand: nice people, local habits & true smiles.
Since we visited CHM 2 years ago, we are going back many times to this place with our good friends who want to discover something that usually only local peoples could see.
Our children love this place so much. My small son has been very exciting to share this experience with his friends’ truth the blog of his school.

CHM is a royal project of his majesty Bhumibol, the king of Thailand. If you are lucky, you may have chance to visit CHM when the king is there. But don't dream, you could not discuss with him :-)
