I am not sure where to start. The pictures do not do the place justice!! The inside was beautiful and spacious. Luxurious bathrooms, a kitchen stocked with the necessary cooking utensils and pots/pans. Beds were comfortable. Lots of space on the main floor, and small additions that made the house that much more comfortable (stereo, fans, nice breeze through the windows, etc). The decks were a good size, with comfortable chairs and a swing. And the views....spectacular sunsets!! Little play areas around the house, to tire the little one out.
Inverness is a cute little town a short 10 minute drive, with all the necessities close at hand (grocery store, wine store, and a coffee shop. Those looking for something a little extra - a fantastic whiskey distillery 20 minutes away! And Cape Breton Highlands national park, with amazing views, a short 45 minutes away.
I honestly can not recommend this enough. The only downside was having to leave.

This home was stunning. On a quiet dirt road and placed on top of a hill with incredible panoramic views of the ocean. Watch the sunset from the top floor deck. Home was very clean and had EVERYTHING we needed. Welcome gift basket was a savior after the 12 hour drive my party made. Quick ride into town for anything you need. Plenty of things close to see and do no matter what type of traveler you may be. Hoping to come back some time in the near future!

Everything was perfect. Great view, spacious, clean, modern. No TV but that was a good thing. Zip line was fun doe the little one and the rabbits provided great entertainment. Would definitely rent again. Close to Inverness and beach. It had everything you needed. Definitely a home away from home

We really enjoyed our time in Inverness at Rolf, Nadja, and Maximilian's house! The scenery, beaches, nearby golf course, and fishing options gave us plenty to do.
The house was well equipped, allowing us to cook most of our meals.. one day we even used the bbq grill to make seafood skewers. The wi-fi was fast and reliable-- great for planning activities for the following day.
This is a great house in a great location!

We stayed in this lovely home for 2 weeks. It was spacious, comfortable and the view is lovely. Kids enjoyed the woods and the zipline. We enjoyed the deck and having our own bathroom! Close to beaches and it was quiet. This house was just what we wanted.
1 review Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay near Inverness, Cape Breton. The house is spacious, very clean and modern and has abundant amenities. The location is very private yet only 10 minutes to Inverness town and about 30 minutes to Cheticamp. The highlights were watching the incredible sunsets, walking on the coastline just across the road and enjoying my kids play on the Zipline-they loved it! Rolf and Nadja responded very quickly to our questions so we could relax and enjoy our vacation.
