Impromptu lunch at Zio ( now La Dolce Vita) with a wonderful platter and chilled rose wine. Try it! Always a favourite restaurant with excellent food and warm service

I ate in Zios just once 5 years ago and didn't go back. So I was interested to see how I found it now... New name, updated decor, new management and much better food! I shared 2 lovely pizzas yesterday. Crispy Italian style pizza, rather than doughy American style pizza. The restaurant was quiet, but It was midweek. I'll be back.

It's been around ages and we finally popped in for a business lunch. The service was great and the food was above average! Highly recommend if your in the mood for Italian.

Zios is now La Dolce Vita. Having visited the "new" restaurant twice, we were delighted both by the food and the service. It also struck us that the prices are also a bit lower.

On both occasions, the pasta was at the level at least of Prima Fila, the best Italian in town, and the service is attentive, friendly and professional. A new favourite.

We hadn't been to Zio's for over five years, having had a couple of mixed experiences.

We decided to give the newly launched La Dolce Vita a chance as we fancied having a dinner in Walton that wasn't at a restaurant chain.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, freshly cooked ingredients and well presented together with attentive and friendly service.

Definitely worth paying a visit to support a local family owned restaurant.
