We stayed in one of the villa suites and absolutely loved it. The suite is large and well appointed with a magnificent view. The deck was huge and we had the privilege of sharing it with a family of swallows that just learned to fly during our stay. Pretty amazing! This is a very special island, and this inn provides the perfect base to explore it from. We went kayaking in Montague Harbour, relaxed on the beautiful white shell beaches in Montague park, saw the magnificent views from bluffs park, and explored the unique sandstone formations on bellhouse park. . . And then there was the food! This island has an amazing variety of different food experiences, from food trucks, pubs, woodfired pizza (at the inn) all the way to what has to be one of the most spectacular foodie experiences you will ever encounter at the Pilgrime restaurant. We stayed for 6 nights and that was about right to explore everything the island had to offer with plenty of time to hang out and relax at the inn.

Room Tip: Get a ground floor room at the villa, especially with kids as it makes it easy to walk back and forth from the beach to your room.

Although the Inn is showing her age a little the view from the room and balcony was outstanding. The gold taps in the bathroom were amazing and the bed was very comfortable. You could not help but relax in the stunning surroundings, lying on a sun lounger watching the eagles flying overhead or the hummingbirds in the garden. It was a real delight to see the BC ferries coming and going all day and into the night. The Inn is so close to the wharf and there are lovely walks to do. The gardens at the Inn are beautiful particularly the rose gardens. The room was beautiful with the open fire place and once again a stunning view. A place to completely unwind.

Room Tip: All rooms overlooked the beautiful harbour view.

This inn was obviously once a cut above however, it is starting to show subtle signs of neglect.
The leather on several chairs in the dining room is ripped.
Paint around the window of our deck needs painting.
The screens on the windows of our room were falling off, due to them not fitting correctly.
The carpet in the hall of the spa rooms needs to be replaced due to wear and stains.
There is no air conditioning So we found it quite warm during the night when it was not a hot night.
These points being mentioned, the staff in the dining room were delightful. The food was delicious. The location, being on the water is wonderful.

It was a birthday/wedding anniversary getaway and my wife and I enjoyed it very much and it matched our every expectation. The room was perfect and the view was outstanding. We had dinner at their restaurant three times. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. When we checked in the lady at the front desk took me to our room and in detail went over all the amenities the room had to offer. Nice touch. The residents that live on Galiano island are very laid back so get yourself into that comfort zone and you will have a great time.

Upon arrival through the iron gates I knew I'd enjoy this property. Parking included and is a 30 second walk to the front doors. Lots of greenery surrounding the entire property. We were greeted warmly even though our room wasn't ready we decided to go for a walk but shortly after we had an early check in so that was awesome!!

The suites are in a separate building right next to the lobby so it feels more secluded going in through a separate entrance. Up some stairs as if ur in an estate and down the hall to a NAMED room which is nice. There aren't many rooms so it's a fairly quiet resort.

Amazing bathroom, u can tell it's old but they do well to make u comfy. Deep soaker tub, handmade soaps etc. The room was a good size with wood burning fireplace and decent bed, small tv and good sized deck overlooking the ocean.

The cleaners tidied up the room above and beyond our expectations by even wrapping my hair tools wires all neatly, folding plastic bags I had laying around, lining up shells I had saved to take home, stacking our books and iPads. Was impressed to say the least. Fresh bedding and coffee/tea equipment etc.

The service at the restaurant was better than what some reviews state, it all was positive and friendly!! The food was good, especially breakfast!! They have a wood burning pizza oven outside on the patio that they do for lunches during the summer which was nice. Gorgeous seating in the restaurant overlooking the ocean.

Beautiful beach to walk on, beautiful gardens and back lawn and the hottub was great as well and semi private.

The spa we did a float session which was super romantic how they set it up for you with candles and soft music, best float I've had.

I would recommend this resort but make sure ur aware there is not much to do on this island but the lush forests and incredible lookouts are worth your visit but everything closes EARLY!!! There r only a few restaurants but BABES IN THE WOODS we went to every day cuz it was amazing, my review will explain more.
