We’ve been dining at Laughing Oyster since the 1960’s and applaud the NEW owners in maintaining the fresh food menu we’ve enjoyed over the years. Keep up the good work - we’ll be back!

We had a large group booked on the September long weekend on a busy night. The attention to detail in service was immediately apparent on arrival and continued throughout the evening. Dave and his crew went above and beyond in ensuring we had the very best evening possible. The food was next level gourmet, including special preparations for our one member with significant allergies, such that we all wished we could have tried what he had too. A significant local find for us, we will return!

Oh my goodness what a find in what feels like in the middle of nowhere! - a heavenly dinner with lovely hosts, an amazing view- a night we will never forget. Thank you!

Great out-of-the way destination restaurant. Food was excellent—oysters and fish super fresh. Even on a cloudy day, the view of the inlet is fabulous, and when it’s cool they turn on outside heaters. Recommended.

A group of 11 friends were staying at the nearby Desolation Sound Resort. Keep in mind, when you reach Lund, you are literally at the end of the road, mile marker 0. We had a reservation and were quickly seated at 7:00. Though the restaurant was busy and it can be hard to manage a large party we received excellent service from the owner/manager and our server. From cocktails all the way through some shared deserts we all enjoyed some unique, delicious and well plated salads, appetizers, chowder and entrees. One member of our party was not happy with their steak entree and was immediately offered a substitute meal, refund and apology from the owner/manager. This restaurant is a hidden gem and should not be missed if in the area. I did read some negative reviews on the restaurant from prior years. Our experience was excellent in every way, including atmosphere. A bear was seen walking past the restaurant while we were dining, pleasantly exciting all diners.
