We stopped here for coffee, friendly staff, gluten free options. We only had something sweet with our coffee but the sandwiches they were serving looked delicious. Great background music, Staff spent time chatting, you can watch the ferry coming and going. Great deck but you might have to compete with the sea gulls. It is worth going off the beaten track.

Often visit this restaurant for lunch - never disappoints - friendly staff, great food and so entertaining to watch the ferry coming in, people kyaking right below the outdoor deck - west coast dining at it's perfection.

A perfect spot for brunch if you're heading to the gardens. Just a magnificent setting right on the water! It's pretty hidden and off the beaten track, but it's worth the drive just to take in the scenery. Once you get inside there is a nice wood burning stove to keep you warm and the food was excellent! We will definitely return next time we are in town.

Brentwood Bay…. Woke up grey and rainy. The weather, not me….. A guys gotta eat breakfast however….
Thought we better see what was available off the resort. Found Sea Horses only a few steps away down on the water….. quaint, comfortable, friendly. Truly it is a lunch place but there were four items on the breakfast menu… don't let that steer you away….. mainly because your choice of restaurants within walking distance is limited otherwise…..
The third week of October is quiet shoulder season I suppose. This didn't have any affect on the service we received… greeted very warm and friendly….. and served with just the right amount of efficiency…. Coffee was alway full. Ordered the breakfast sandwich.. ..wow…. Just a simple breakfast sandwich but fresh, hot and good!! Fresh fruit and potatoes accompanied the sandwich. Came away completely satisfied…..
Don't hesitate… if you are in Brentwood Bay….. you need to stop here. I can only imagine just how good it could be in mid summer…. Would love to have lunch sometime. I'm thinking it is awesome!!

Friendly service. Good food. Nice stop after visiting Butchart Gardens. Soup was delicious. Raspberry bar for dessert was a sweet touch.
