Absolutely brilliant food. 3 of us dining and we all raved about our entrees and mains. Best seafood spaghetti ever! I had asparagus soup. Yum. Chicken roast. Yum. The beef rib was huge and so tender No room for dessert alas. Friendly staff and a lovely setting. Outstanding!

Best dinner and experience we had around here.

All places around here are pricey but this was the best by far.

Oyster entrees, drink, huge mains and yummy desserts. Totally bill was just under $400 but it was good food, great environment and fine service.

Should have come back here instead of eating at jindy. Better value for money although everything around here is overpriced but comparing what you get for your money, this is the best for your many bucks.

We recently stayed for five nights on a skiing holiday with friends. The location was brilliant- an easy drive up to Thredbo each day and close to the ski tube for other skiing options. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy with everything you need after a days skiing. The food was absolutely delicious and a very high standard and the wine list is also excellent. The host was warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable. It's close to other points of interest such as Wild Brumby distillery. A delightful, thoughtful and perfectly located venue would definitely stay here again.

Friendly and obliging staff coupled to beautiful food (the Portuguese Eggs are worth the drive alone) and comfortable bed makes this stay outstanding. Choice of skiing and Wild Brumby distillery across the road means every box is ticked. This eclectic farm will suit those who love food, high country views and comfortable beds. Definitely stay again.

Cold winter's day the ideal place to fuel up. Called in for lunch seemed busy with lots of groups dining. Managed a table and ordered from a well written menu. Lots of variety to suit meat eaters to vegetarians. Trout, beef, chicken, Duck lots to tempt you. The pork belly was melt in the mouth scrumptious, the best I have eaten- crunchy moist and tender! Desserts were suitably proportioned and well presented. The young lass with the English accent was pleasant and accommodating. The only sour taste of the lunch time feast was the other female waitperson who wasn't able to smile or interact with customers. Service industries mean just that, polite service.

Thankyou for your review and positive comments.
I'm so sorry that one of our staff wasn't accommodating, I can recall that busy day, and she wasn't very well, but that is no excuse, will take the comments on board.

We stayed here to attend a wedding in the area and we loved it. The decor is quirky and we spent some time exploring and enjoying the decorative pieces. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. Our hosts were helpful, making good recommendations for places to visit and good walks in the area. While we didn't have dinner in the restaurant we did have breakfast, which was very good. I would stay here again.

Myself and some friends were up at Thredbo for the weekend and after a bush walk up to Charlotte Pass wanted somewhere to stop for lunch. We managed to get a table here and I am glad we did. Great honest food, amazing fresh produce, well presented and delicious. This teamed with friendly service and an open fire makes this place somewhere to go when in town. It is more on the expensive side but well worth it.
